Events are open to all over 12 years old and provide for all levels of driving skills.
unless otherwise advised as specific free offers or requirements for a particular event.
What do I need to do to compete at a DSMSA Car Event???
You Must Have Membership of the DSMSA, or another CAMS affiliated club.
Cost $30 Adult, $50 Family. Juniors must join as part of a family membership.
You Must Have A CAMS Licence.
If arriving at an event without a Current CAMS Licence, or proof of such,
you will be required to complete a CAMS Licence application and pay applicable monies
which will be refunded when proof of licence being current on the day is provided.
The DSMSA does not issue day licences.
Event Entry Costs For Competitors
1 Day Khanacross & Motorkhana Events
$30 Adult DSMSA Members, $10 Junior DSMSA Members.
$35 Adult Members & $15 Junior Members of other CAMS affiliated clubs
with other CAMS affiliated club membership verification required.
2 Day Khanacross Events
$60 Adult DSMSA Members, $20 Junior DSMSA Members.
$70 Adult Members & $30 Junior Members of other CAMS affiliated clubs
with other CAMS affiliated club membership verification required.
If not notifying in advance of intention to compete via email here
or at least phoning Foxy (ph. 0409 228 778) or Bob (ph. 4094 1804)
and arriving with completed required documentation on the day
An Entry Penalty Fee Will Apply For Every Event - $10 for Adults & $5 for Juniors!!!
Club Car Costs
Free for 12-14yo’s use in Junior Motorkhanas.
$10 per day for Junior Drivers, $20 per day for Adult Drivers.
$10 during running of event if needed due to own car failure.
CAMS Regulations
All vehicles defined as a special by Group 4H
must be fitted with a roll over protection structure complying with Schedule J
DSMSA Competition Car Requirements
in addition to, instead of, or as a variation of, that shown in CAMS Regulations above.
Structurally sound with effective and safe brakes and steering.
Over 900gm fully-charged fire extinguisher securely fastened in passenger compartment of vehicle.
Driver’s seatbelt in safe, undamaged, working condition.
Not excessively noisy - No straight through exhausts.
Positive battery terminal taped.
Drivers Clothing Requirements
All drivers and passengers in Khanacross must wear an approved crash-helmet,
suitable neck to wrist and ankle clothing, and covered shoes.
Competitors and passengers in Junior Motorkhana must wear suitable clothing, and covered shoes.
